I cancelled my subscription on Aug. 25th I've been charged 3 times since then through direct withdrawal through my banking acct.
I cancelled my subscription on Aug. 25th 2013, since then I have been charged via direct withdrawal through my banking account. I never gave permission for direct withdrawal. I paid initial payment via check. The Virginian Pilot then debited my account three times after my cancellation date. On September 10th for $2.99, on October 10th for $2.99 and on November 8th for $16.00. I called to report the issue and I was giving an email address for customer service and was advised that I was entitled to a refund. I question if I would receive an automated reply and the customer service agent advised I would be contacted by a representative. However, I did receive an automated email stating that I need to contact via phone. I have already spoke with my bank to prevent any future unauthorized transactions at this point I am trying to get my money refunded.
The Virginia Pilot continues to delivery bi-weekly coupons to my driveway. I have repeated emailed and called to have these deliveries stopped.
I have never requested the delivery of coupons to my driveway; however, I receive bi-weekly coupons to my driveway. They are a nuisance and I consider it littering. I have called the phone number provided on their delivery, requesting the delivery to stop. It continues. I have emailed the Virginian Pilot customer service, requesting the cancellation of these deliveries about six times. Although I have received replies back from the Virginian Pilot stating that the deliveries will stop, I continue to receive this coupon. My requests to have the delivery to stop has gone on for atleast six months.
